Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) Web Developer

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Salary: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: 30 hours per week

Private company / retail and wholesale establishment / distribution centre

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate website-related code for our e-commerce platform.
• Determine optimal hardware and software configurations for peak server performance.
• Develop and maintain scalable website architecture and functionality.
• Write, modify, integrate, and test web and software code.
• Maintain existing programs and implement required updates or improvements.
• Prepare mockups, storyboards, and prototypes for new web features.
• Document technical processes, updates, and maintenance procedures.
• Organize and curate information to enhance website layout and flow.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather user requirements and feedback.
• Create and optimize visual and multimedia content for the website.
• Research and evaluate interactive media and software tools to improve user experience.
• Attend trade shows, product design events, and showrooms as needed.

Experience and Specialization

Technical Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, React.js, TypeScript, Shopify, and Social Media integration
Areas of Experience: Entrepreneurship, IT Service Delivery, Design, Quality Assurance
Specialization: E-Commerce Development, Web Applications, Software Development

Additional Information

Security & Safety: Criminal record check and valid passport required.
Physical Requirements: Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours.
